U.S. Air Service Signal Corps Squadrons of lumberjacks

I just came across this interesting page with some great information and research on a less well known group of Squadrons of the U.S. Army Air Service, Signal Corps (ASSC). It includes background and tables of the Squadrons that were based in Washington and Oregon that were comprised of lumberjacks who provided spruce for the manufacturing of aircraft.
