Sopwith Tabloid: RNAS 169 - OCT 1914
1. Anyone happen to have a photo of the prototype Tabloid when it was RNAS 169? It was captured by the Germans on October 9, 1914.
I've got the Tabloid Windsock... so I've probably got all there is... I'd be happy to get a photo of 167 or 168... since they served together they are probably similarly marked. 2. Does anyone know how they were marked? -- Union Jack on lower wings? or -- Red / white roundel? 3. How about cockpit photos? any help is appreciated. Thanks, Rob Waring
