Cockpit photo of LVG C.V, Pfalz D.IIIa, AEG G.IV and ???

Hello all,

just returned from a scanning session and found some photos of cockpits, which might be useful, in the article “Development of German warplanes during the war” by Dr.-Ing. Wilhelm Hoff, DVL Berlin-Adlershof from “Zeitschrift des VDI":

LVG C.V

Fig. 10. Pilot cockpit of a C-plane (LVG C V)

A view into the pilot's cockpit of a modern C-airplane, Lvg CV, fig.10, shows the control stick in the center with the trigger for the fixed m.g. right above; seen are left the switches for the engine operation, lower left the F.T-dynamo driven by v-belts and right the compass. The box at the front panel cache/contain the cartridge belt. The tachometer [revolution counter] is fastened to the steel tube carrying the m.g. [Source: Zeitschrift des VDI, 27/1920]

Pfalz D.IIIa

Fig. 18. Pilot cockpit of a Pfal D IIIa of Pfalz-Flugzeug-Werke, Speyer.

The Pfal D IIIa, fig. 18 of Pfalz-Flugzeug-Werke showing excellent back sight, on which Rittmeister Freiherr von Richthofen attach great importance. [Source: Zeitschrift des VDI, 28/1920]

AEG G.IV

Fig. 25. Pilot cockpit with control panel of a Aeg G IV.

On the switch board, fig. 25, in front of the pilot, many levers/valves are ideally coupled with each other, so that few grabbing were required for manipulation. [Source: Zeitschrift des VDI, 28/1920]

Unidentified

Any clue, which aircraft that could be? It must be a two/multiengined aircraft, because of the position of the speedometer. ?Friedrichshafen FF.45 (G.IIIA)?

Thanks & Cheers,
Marcus

Thanks, Marcus, much appreciated.

Often, things like such, which detail as neglected as important aspects of WWI aircrafts, get less comments than some apparently much more trifling question.
