WWI Aircraft colors

Hi fellows:

Just joined The Aerodrome so forgive me if this has been dealed before.
Is there a conversion table for WWI colors in the different ranges of paints available. I know that Humbrol, Tamiya and others made accurate matches, but unfortunatly I don´t have easy access to them here in Guatemala.
I can access easely Modell Master colors, so any help on formula and/or conversions to this range will be appreciatted.

TIA.

There are Urban's Color Reference Charts on IPMS Stockholm at Urban's Color Reference Charts - Part I which with a bit of cross referencing between the different charts may be of help to you. They do list the modle master paints in the charts and they also have sections for WW1 aircraft colours.

There is also the Ultimate Model Paint Conversion Chart at The Ultimate Model Paint Conversion Chart which has limitless conversion possibilities that you can adjust to compare which brand of paints you want.

Hope this helps

Thank´s a lot Tim

For sure this will help.
I´m about to start my Wingnut Wings SE 5 and I´m banging my head with the colors. Have a very short supply of Tamiya´s but, as usually happens, none of the needed colors.

Thank´s again.
