Hi Shredward:
1. Jasta 6 locations from 1 September 1918,when
Ltn. Ulrich Neckel took over command of
Jasta 6.
2. On 1 September 1918,
Jasta 6 was based at Busigny North Air Field, along with
Jasta 4 at Busigny-Escaufort,
Jasta 10 at Escaufort and
Jasta 11 at Busigny in the
German 2.Armee.
3. Along with
Jage Nr.1, "Richthofen" was
Gruja Nr.2, with
Jasta 5 at Villers-sur-Nicole,
Jasta 34b at Seranvillers to 4 Sept'18, to Bévillers, to 30 Sept.'18, to Escarmain to 7 Oct.'18, to Givry to 25 Oct.'18, to Gosselies to the EOW,
Jasta 37 was located the same as.
All these locations were in the
German 2.Armee.
4.
Jage Nr.1,"Richthofen" was transferred to the German
Armee Abteilung "C" on 28 Sept.'18, and was located at Metz-Frescaty Airfield to
8 Oct.'18 to Marville to 6 Nov.'18 Tellancourt to the end of the war.
So far we have no match ups except with in
Jage Nr.1"Ricthofen".
5. Stationed in
Armee Abt."C" along with
Jage.Nr.1 "Richthofen" was
Gruja "Simpelkamp", with
Jasta 64w and
Jasta 65.
6.
Jasta 64w was stationed at Mars-la-Tour, to 14 Sept.'18, to Giramont to 9 Oct.'18 to Tichémont to EOW.
7.
Jasta 65 was located at Marville from 16 Sept.'18 to 7 Oct.'19, La Ferté to 20 Oct.'18, Tichémont to EOW.
Now we have a match-up,
Jasta 65 was based at Marville and left on 7 Oct.'18.
Jasta 6 arrived on 9 Oct.'18. I
suspect these two machine may have been unflyable and left to pick up later.
Jasta 65 markings were brown tailplanes and noses, these two appear to be so marked, The tails are darkly painted, because of the shadow, the noses are difficult to see. Also each plane carried the pilot's personal marking painted on the fuselage sides. The D.VII on the right has added white markings on the upper wing and a white border of the tailplane.
My take is these machines belong to
Jasta 65.
Blue skies Shredward,
Dan-San
