Fokker Dr1 1/72nd scale Kits

I'm getting ready to purchase four or five 72nd scale
Dr1 kits. I'm looking for a kit that fits together good.
I built a Revell 70's kit(nightmare) in the spring.
I've looked at the Eduard duel kit and the revell.
Could anybody offer some advice on these or
other kits. Any info will be helpful.
Thanks
Wade

Revell has redone their Dr.1. The accuracy is better, and if you're buying 4 or 5, it's easier on your wallet. There is a thread on this already under models.

Looks like the revell roden and eduard
are all about the same price. I will give
them a try.
Thanks

If you don't prefer the PE-loaded 'profipack' version by Eduard, the Revell is the better kit. The main reason is the wing structure, the Eduard kit has positive ribrepresenation on the undersides, the Revell negative. These 'negative' ribs are somewhat overdone, but nothing a little thinned filler could not handle.
The LMGs are perfect (for a version without pe cooling jackets), better than Eduard. Main disadvantage: The decals are only for Richthofen-Brothers....

The engine on the Revell kit is much better as well. The Eduard engine is very weedy and has no intake pipes. Even in the Profipack version they are provided as etch, which is silly. Overall the Revell is a better package IMO, although decal choices are limited. Get some aftermarket decals and do a Jasta!

Cheers,

Nigel

Thanks Nigel and Hans
Looks like the revell kit is the way to go
I have the after market Fokker decals from
Pheon Models, which I must say are awesome.
Would like to do some of the lesser known pilots.
Hopefully start these at the end of summer
Working on an Albatros DIII MvR
and a Brandenberg W29
Thanks again
