Hi All;

I was in my local model shop yesterday when I had to grin ... because they had just got in a whole pile of resurrected Airfix WW1 "Dogfight Doubles" All that was missing (if I recall correctly) was the RE 8 and Roland Walfisch double.

I am bringing this up as these were an early source of modeling pleasure and was a "had to have" article for the modelling kids of my generation (oh my God, did I say that?), the early 1970's. I wonder if modelling kids today (as I think Airfix are pitching at them) will go for them the same way we did? Or will it be a case of them being bought by nostalgic farts like myself, obsessed with trying to get the Brisfit not to overbalance the Dogfight Double stand like it always used to?

All the Best

Neil
