Rumpler C.VII Question

Hi guys - a quick question on the Rumpler C.VII - other than the Maybach engine and some additional equipment for high altitude operations, what dimensional differences where there between the Rumpler C.IV and Rumpler C.VII? From what I can find online, there was some differences in wing area (only slight), and some length dimensions that were slightly different (probably due to the different powerplant). Other than that they seem to look quite similar to me... Is anyone able to enlighten me?

The reason I ask is because I have found some photos of Rumpler C.VII serial 7927 that was flown by 4SQN Australian Flying Corps in Germany after the war, which had lozenge fabric and British roundel markings and was named "the grog wagon" (probably for obvious reasons!) - thought it may make an interesting conversion for the Jager 1:48 Rumpler C.IV model I have if the conversion wasn't too difficult

Thanks!

BC

Hello brad

The dimensions of Rumpler CIV and Rumpler CVII are quite the same

Rumpler CIV:
Span 12.66 m-length 8.405 m-height 3.25m-aera 33.5 sq.m

Rumpler CVII
Span 12.55 m-length 8.20 m(1)-height 3.39m-aera 33.6 sq.m

(1) the CVII had no spinner at the difference of CIV

My Gallery
Ru C.IV family.

Hi Brad Cancian
The airframe on the C.IV,V, Rubild,VI, Ru.Mb, C.VII and the C.IX were the same. There were some internal differences, with or without bomb stowage. the the elevator cable cover under the fuselage and exhaust manifolds. The span, length and height height were the same. The empty weights varied.
E-mail me your address and I'll send you a 1/72 scale C.VII drawing.
Blue skies,

Many thanks for the responses guys, exactly what I was after! Looks like the conversion should be quite simple, namely a new engine.

Thanks again!
