Beauchamp-Proctor

Does anybody know off-hand if, or how, Andrew Beauchamp-Proctor was connected to the B-Ps of Langley Park, Norfolk, a martial family of some note?

I have read that his father was a schoolmaster, and that he himself was born in the Cape, but it seems to me that his surname must place him in some relation to that part of the British peerage.
