When I enter my 1/4 scale DVII in the Irish r/c championships, obviously, proof of colour is needed. The point I am trying to make is,if I stick to one reference source, say, windsock data files, the judges should not have a problem.
What do you static guys do?also,if you mix a colour, what is the best way to keep it from hardening?

Greetings Clifford:
When it comes to info for display I use a placqard. *I have one sheet paper that has *1 paragraph (with 4-6 sentences) on the aircraft History. Next is a build up review of what I did to improve the kit (with 8 sentences max.) * Then the Info on the aircraft I'm representing Who, what unit, when, where and a unique story tied to the aircraft. *At the bottom hightlight Please Turn Over>>>>>>
This is inserted into a clear archive sleeve and another page is inserted. *This page should have any 'copies of photos or color copies that you want the judges to see. *The judges should be able to turn your face page over to the the continuing info.
To keep enamels from 'going bad' just use the paint companies thinner. *Wipe the rim of the jar off each time you shake to mix, open to use. I have my paints in a rack and *1/2 turn them every 5-7 days. *I have the mixed colour on the top lid to see at a glance. *I have the green's with the greens, blues with the blues and etc. Let us know how you do! *
Thanks for the tip,Steve,I"ll try it out.
when I get my digital camera from Santa,I"ll post a piture for the chaps in the Forum!
While test flying,I managed to "Prop hang",like the full size!....hoping to get a few extra for this next year!
Also, because it"s finised in DEGALOW"S colours,it is just that little bit more menacing in a head on veiw.
Regards,Clifford.
