Re

Hey Tim,

Whatever you do, don't let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

I'd post a link but the anti-spam on the forum unfortunately does not let me. It is a pity the system is not capable of removing pointless and bitter threads likes this. Perhaps someone would take the 'links' below and make them proper links on my behalf. In the meantime, the information is there for anyone who wishes to check, and I've included a gif of some stages of a WIP.

Facts :
ivanberryman . com/paintings_in_progress . htm
ivanberryman . com/gotha_dhm1704 . htm
ivanberryman . com/otto_kissenberth_dhm1627 . htm

Thumbs up op/ed...this is AMERICA

IMHO
Your gif shows nothing other than not only can you use photoshop to paint, you can make animated gifs too.. WAY TO GO! I mean how many artist have cyber henchmen?

And fortunately in AMERICA I can have a OPINION on art that "I" ... TIM WEST, thinks is crap. I can freely criticize anyones art I choose and have opinions as to the its creation. And in "MY" opinion, a lot of the pieces are exact copies of many published photos and bare striking resemblances to work of well established artist here in the US. Not much for a original approach to art and rather lends itself to the fact that production at times out ways quality. Which was my point of discussion.

And I'll say it again. "I" think" the art is copied and crap. That is my review of work...that in my opinion is flat and lifeless. Not to mention the lack of accuracy and fact checking....

Don't cry too much mate, the mods will probably remove this OP/ED anyhow.

CHEERS!

....if the dogs weren't scared..they wouldn't run

Those 2 painting (or computer illustration and painting) are not alike at all.
If you look closely you can see subtle perspective differences through out the
whole image.

For some reason I can't find the old thread that touched this off in the beginning of last year from what I had remembered there were some good examples of some overlays showing both images and how close that were but I can't find them.

From the examples from the old thread in my opinion there were a lot of similarity's in his images to the other artwork.

I would suggest to keep this thread open to just keep it civil with out the personal attacks so we all can share and learn from this...
