Before Photoshop

I was going through the boxes of material from the well known aviation historian, author, editor, publisher and award winning avid modeler, Paul Matt. Came across a box of his 4 x 5 negatives from the late 1960s. I thought a lot of you older modelers might enjoy seeing all the work involved in making great model photos BEFORE there was ever Photoshop, or photo-etched accessories-some 40 years ago!. Here is one of his scratch-built models. Looks like the wings even have a real airfoil Pattern. Today, Matt may be best known for the continued popularity of his still-published books of highly detailed model plans that he researched and drafted, himself.
