I am trying to rig the landing gear on a Camel model.Have looked at photos,profiles and models and am still not sure how the bracing goes.
Some front views show the typical "X" attaching at the top and bottom of the front landing gear struts. Others show the upper attachment points at the top of the rearlanding gear struts. Even more problematic; profile views show two wires running straight up and down from the fuselage directly toward the axle but these wires do not appear in front views. *??? Some front views also show a shaft or brace running from the center line of the fuselage down to the center of the axle but this does not show in the profile I have. Wish I could illustrate this confusing description but I am afraid I am not that astute. Can anyone help me please?? Thanks in advance. * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Puzzled Bob *???
