For those of you who want that kit: a shop in Belgium owns a little stock of the 1/48 Fokker D VII Ernst Udet with resin bust of the pilot (just bought one today). Costs 25 euros + p&p. I've discussed with the owner of the shop; no problem for him to eventually send some kits to the USA or anywhere else. Contact him at:

Hello!
I have this kit in my collection and this is the unique who comes with a pair of extra parts to make another D.VII than the late Fokker built. However I believe that Dragon intend to give parts for an early production Fokker build D.VII, but the right side of this version have a different exhaust pipes design... What do you can talk about it?
I have the honour to tell you that the owner of Tankit is good fellow. *I had believed that these kits would be gone long before I contacted him. *I decided to treat myself and at least try. Suprisingly all four kits were still on his shelf on *Dec. 27, 2002. *with an e-mail and a phone call it was all set. *Today the four Dragon Fokker D.VII (#5908 ) kits arrived in good order. Thanks Pierre. *I highly recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing from his shop. Scimitar many thanks for your help as well! I love the Aerodrome!!!
Stephen, You, you. . . Kit Hog, You! You bought the whole stock without considering your Forum mates??? Could you perhaps be induced to part w/ early Fokker nose panels, since you now own, let's see... Four sets of 'em?? For a price, of course. Rob
One note of interest is that inside the boxes of the Dragon D.VII kits is a single multi language notice to '...read all instructions carefully.' The Note has as its header, 'Italeri'. Surely there must be more out there...
