Bearing needed for Fokker DVII
Can anybody out there find me an odd bearing for my Fokker DVII. It is a high speed (25,000+), deep grove, ID 20mm, OD 2 inches, Width 9/16 inch. Yes that's right, mm and inches.

Odd size ball bearing.
Question # 1, Isn’t there a number or name on this bearing. Many bearing believed made in Germany may have been manufactured in Sweden.
Question # 2, Are you very certain that you have the proper equipment to measure a bearing. They are some of the most precise items manufactured at that time and the Swedes were one of the few nations in the world that had easy access to Precision Gage Blocks. Study Cadillac history for that information and Johansen Gage Blocks. I can’t feature the Swedes making Ball Bearing with inch measurement, but then again money is the guiding factor in this case.
Question # 3, 20 m/m = .7874”, 2.0000” =50,800 m/m. Are these the dimensions you have for the conversion factor?
Question # 4, Do you believe that the usage in the area they came from is necessary to the usage of a high speed ball bearing?
Question # 5, Have you tried;

this bearing is made for the Gipsy Queen . take a bearing ID 3/4 OD 2 inches ,
put it on a magnet plate and fill it with wax ( hard wax ), after machine the inside to 20mm .

The problem is that non of the standard bearing is made for high RPM, the standard bearing are up to 15K RPM.

RPM is not a problem for the bearing , only for the cage, if the bearing has a low RPM cage , you ned to replace it with a high RPM cage .
