Ratier French Propeller Identification ?

Hello

I ve found this website during an internet search about my old Ratier Propeller. Unfortunately I only find few things about the constructor and the motor name wrote on it (Anzani 45CV). May I ask you to look to the pics I send and tell me if you have more informations about it.

Thanks !

Bonjour Samuel,

I regret that I can't tell you much either. The prop probably dates from around 1916. At this time the Anzani 45hp engine was used on rouleurs
(which are aircraft used for ground training; they couldn't take off) and examples were made for the French and Americans by Morane and Caudron.

With regards,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the informations ! Someone in France answered me with more details about my propellers. He seems to be a 'Ratier Expert'. So they dates from 1924. He has some constructor incomes on the same series and they were used on a strange machine (sort of helicopter).

Samuel

Thanks for telling me Samuel. I didn't know the Anzani 45hp was still in use then.

With regards,

Bob
