Props

Okay, after so rudely dropping a grenade in another thread, teasing our technical types, I stick my neck out to write this and ask for their input :

Anyone have the diameter and pitch for the props used on the Pup, 1 1/2 strutter and the Bristol Scout? Looking to buy a prop that is at least close for each of a pair of planes to build. These are:

1. Bristol Scout. Bought the Aerodrome Airplanes Pup kit, and plane to do a conversion to a scout. Won't be perfect, but know what? Bet I am flying it in less than a year. The changes in the tail surfaces, wing tip shapes and the slightly shorter wing span are not going to much affect a plane that has a landing speed of about 35-40 MPH as it is.

2. Sopwith 1 1/2 strutter. Plan on using the basic Pup design and stretch it to suit. (some structures will be beefed up, not to worry). Again, dimensions may not be exact, but with as few flying versions as there are out there, if we don't get some birds up, I think that the youth will lose the passion for the air. Then again, I am a "steam guages" kind of guy.
Besides, think how romantic the wife will think it to go for a ride over the country side "like that sweet couple in the movie!"
