Fl.Abt. 225 location between mid-1917 and mid-1918
Hello!
A friend of mine got some WW1 aerial photos. The only thing we could find out is, that the pictures were taken between mid-1917 and mid-1918 by the Fl.Abt. 225. The names of the crew(s) are not mentioned on the photos and the area(s) where the photos were taken are not mentioned, too. We would like to know where Fl.Abt. 225 was stationed during that time and which areas were photograped by them. Thank you very much for any kind of hint...  .

Hi Volker
I would say that FAA 225 was stationed in Somme area during this period. First within 2 Army and later from Mar 1918 within 18 Army. One source (not complete reliable) give their a/d at Origny during 1917... It might be "easy" to identify the photos from this information...  Gunnar |
