magneto question/ to SLDIII and Maxim08

Greetings everyone,
First an apology to SLDIII and Maxim08 for not acknowledging their replies to a previous post about sourcing instruments for an LVG CVI. I have been experiencing some hardware problems over the past few weeks which have now been resolved hence my apology.
My question is :-
The ubiquitous Bosch ZH6 magneto. I know that this was standard issue on many German aero engines and indeed I have one but it doesnt fit the base plate on the engine, was there more than one type? If as I suspect there was, which type was fitted to the BenzIVu engine?
I realise that this is a rather specific question but I am hoping that the wealth of expertise and information abounding in the forum might help me out.
