Well. I'll start guessing - Russian Deperdussin?

Hi Yavor
the tailplane looks a bit like a Bleriot (XXVII?) and the people seem to be Russians

Yavor, you found another rarity here!
The tail assembly is quite distinctive, only I can´t find a match with something.
What comes close differs too much in the wings and front part.
Do we have to look further to the eastern part of europe?
I like to see the landing gear to know if it´s a derive of a Nieuport, Morane, Blériot or anything. The single tombstone makes me think it is not based on a Deperdussin.
And I believe I´ve seen the pilot before. He´s posed there like the gimp of the day and that´s just what he´s looking like.
Seems some further research is needed...

The tail looks a bit like a Tereshchenko 7. I am not sure if the #5 or 6 monoplanes had a similar one.

Well, it was once upon a time in Russia.
The plane in question is not Deperdussin, Blériot, Sikorsky (Сикорский), Nieuport, Morane or Tereshchenko (Терещенко).
Good luck with your research!
Regards,
Yavor

My sincere apologies to Joachim and all the readers!
Miscaptioned photo from a source, which is usually reliable, led me to believe another plane is shown on the picture. Without much hesitation I dismissed Blériot, but after some research, I am going to change my opinion.
Now I believe the aeroplane shown on the picture is, most probably, Blériot XXVII (or related project). At least single example was confirmed in Russia. Look of the military public present on the crash site persuaded me the photo is a wartime training accident.
Any comments, please!
 Yavor

Yavor, if it´s a war-time accident the challenge is legal of course.
The Blériot XXVII is closest, although the model in the RAF Museum has a flat engine cowling panel, what might be a variety.
What does your caption say?
If it is proven, that this one is something else, I would give the point to Joachim.
He may feel safer posting the next, beeing one point ahead of me
By the way, Yavor, do you know who was the pilot here?
