Leutnant Fritz Beyer, FFA 9

Our Association akquired a huge framed post-WW1 photograph of the above mentioned Royal-Saxon Leutnant, "Stammregiment" Infanterie-Regiment 105.
Photo displays him with EK1, EK2, A RX2, Verwundetenabzeichen (silver) and pilot badge together with his younger sister Elfriede.

I would like to get some more information about this flying officer who served with Feld-Flieger-Abteilung/Flieger-Abteilung 9.

Thanks in advance.

At the moment the only Information i have about Lt. Beyer is that he received his AO RK 2X on 1. August 1916 at the FFA 9. But i look for more.

Hannes- Rick Duiven and Dr Dieter Groschel have a Fritz Baer in their two-seater unit lists from FA 9b (probably FFA 9b originally). They were unsure about the spelling, though. May not be the same person. Here is what they had:

BAER (?), Pion. Fritz Mechanic Photogrammeter
Fl.Abt. 9b 1Jun15

Thank you, boys!

Sadly, that is still very limited information.
