Air raid on Jabbeke aerodrome 21 May 1918

Hi,

This day the aerodrome was bombed by planes from probably 211 Sqdn or 88 Sqdn, however they took another field close to it for the aerodrome and bombed this partially. Can anyone confirm which unit did this attack ?

Probably No 211 Sqn; Lt R F C Metcalfe + 2nd Lt D R Bradley claimed a two-seater and a scout, both crashed, in the course of a combat in the vicinity of Varssenaere (Varsenare) following a bombing raid. Lost in this encounter was the crew of 2nd Lt H E Tansley + 2nd Lt N B Harris, both taken prisoner when their DH9, B7661, was shot down at 10:15 (British time).

I have seen this victory credited to Ltn Gotthard Sachsenberg of MFJI, but I have also seen his victory on this date as being over the Bristol Fighter of Lt K O Millar + 2nd Lt S Davidson, both killed, near Ostend, at 18:15 (British time).
