Exclamation Nieuport 12 Information?

Hey

I am currently doing some research for school on the Nieuport 12 and i was wondering if you guys knew anything about it. All i can seem to find are replicas and nothing to do with specs and such.
So if anyone knows anything about this plane including but not limited to specs, famous pilots, missions, what it was used for specifically. That would be a great help.

Thanks Guys!

You can find compressed information on the Nieuport 12 at

Nieuport 12 - The Aerodrome - Aces and Aircraft of World War I. Note that the Nieuport 12 was used in Russia, England (Royal Flying Corps and Royal Naval Air Service). So not really operational with the French. The machine was in a one and a two seat version.

also very fine are the Nieuport pages at

Nieuport 12, 12bis, 13 & 20

You could look in a myriad of books about the Nieuport 12, where the best are

Bruce, J.M. Aeroplanes of the Royal Flying Corps (Military Wing) [about the use of the Nieuport 12 in the RFC]

Davilla, James. French Aircraft Of The First World War

Sanger, Ray
. Nieuport Aircraft of World War One

If you are French reading you can obviously start some months of reading

A contemporary drawing of the Nieuport 12

Cheers

The Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa has an original restored ex French Air Force Nieuport 12 (not a Beardmore example as is sometimes suggested), painted in its original colours and with its original 110hp LeRhone.

There is a datafile on the Nieuport 10 & 12 however like most published sources contains many errors and omissions (like omitting the fact that a number were built with LeRhones). In addition no published source has the length correct - it was in fact the same as for the Nieuport 10.

This is probably not a good choice as it will take a considerable amount of time to find enough material for an essay.
