Question Voss' Triplane: What Colour Was the Cowl?

There's been a continuing debate over the years that hasn't reached a conclusion: what color was of Voss' triplane. Although we may never know the answer, I want to put aside the canvas and focus on the cowl of his DR.1 (piece of metal the covers the LeRhone engine).

I've focused on the claims made by various sources, some of which are had to believe all the way around (such as orange, for instance). But, if they mentioned it, then it will be included. A picture of Voss' triplane cowl is provided below, and it's up to you to draw a conclusion.

I personally think it was dark green... possibly chrome yellow, although the photograph seems to go against light colors.

Here's another question of curiosity: what color was the plane? I've heard claims of blue, silver, blue-green, and about six or seven others.
