Please Varese2002,

I am still newby here ; will you be kind enough to show me how to establish the results ?

Thanks in advance ...

Russian planes - this is for me
It's Lebed-Morskoy (LM-1) made on Lebedev's factory in 1915. There was two made, on a base of Albatros B.I with added floats and changed engines (Sunbeam 150 h.p.)

Congratulations Crimso!
A small note - Лебедь Морской 1 was probably based on a prewar (1914) three-bay Albatros biplane (L.I), not a two-bay Alb.B.I. There was similar Albatros biplane on floats (actually amphibian) with 100 hp Mercedes (competitor for 1913 Lake Constance Prize).
Regards,
Yavor

Yes, you are right, there is 3-bay Albatros. I just not good in that "german two-seaters", maybe I should read some Windsocks books...

Just for info, in the factory documentation LM-1 was called "Albatros A.2"

And, YavorD, I have a small note for you too Word Лебедъ is should be written as Лебедь. "Ъ" letter is "hard sign" when "Ь" is "soft sign". Word Лебедь means Swan, but in this case it is a fine abbreviation of factory's owner's name Лебедев.
Russian language lesson is over
