Maybe it's jut me, but does anyone else feel that the French roundels included in Eduard's kits are a little "bright"? I really prefer the roundel colors as offered by A/G, and some others that I have acquired for the stash are similar to the A?g roundels. The blue is has a more slate-blue/gray to it and the red is a little darker and "browner" if that makes sense.
I know there are probably some technical art terms for this, but there is just something about the Eduard French roundels that bugs me. Maybe it's just me.

Ni23 sprues look like those of Ni17. Was there any external difference except for the gun moved to the side?

Hi WarrenD,

I think the technical term is "Indian Red", also known as "Hiram Walker" Red.
