Sopwith-Baby Operational Record

I have a question for the historians of the aerodrome forum. According to what I have read about the Baby, it was in production in respectable numbers throughout the war. Yet, operationally it appears to have not had any noteworthy success. (Someone was a good CEO, Sopwith or Hawker).

Seems as though a fellow named Bankes-Price pioneered close air support with some success before himself being shot down in aerial combat. My question is....

Was the Baby ever successful in the intended role of Zeppelin interceptor?

Thanks!
