Can anyone tell me what is contained there in? In particular I am looking for cockpit photos or diagrams.

I seem to recall that Frank Tallman's book "Flying the Old Planes" has cockpit photos of the Pfalz D XII he had. It would be available through interlibrary loan at your local library.

I think this is where Breguet got his/her pics from but there's more than those 4 and they're all really neat. Breguet definitely picked out the best and most important 4 for detail but there are wider shots, different angles and different sources on that page too.

There's an original Pfalz D.XII at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. It is part of the Champlin Fighter Museum collection that was sold to the MoF a few years back.

A number of years ago, I got to see the collection at Champlin, and got to go behind the ropes. I may have some cockpit shots of the D.XII, but I don't know. I'll try to dig around and find the photos.
