Breguet's Crash File #110

Breguet's Crash File #110

I found these three pictures which were sold during the war as postcards. For obvious reasons I edited out the texts on the cards. Have a good time looking at them and searching around what this is, I will return again to the stubborn #109 which needs still more attention.

If the nose wasn't so angular I'd say a Junkers J1. But then as time hasn't passed I can't say nothing yet!

Hello

Not an airplane but an airship.
I think it's the LZ 77 shot down on february 21, 1916 by French cannon near Revigny (France).

A link (in french) : LE ZEPPELIN DE REVIGNY (février 1916)

Hello Bruno,
That last photo was taken at Namur. Thanks for uploading--I had yet to see a photo of L.Z.77 in one piece.

Cheers

Excellent Cruze, I had not thought this would be ended so quickly. I also enclose here the three postcards with the original French texts. The date of the demise of this Zeppeling is on the cards given as 21 Février 1916 at 20.47.
It is amazing how many pictures are available of this incident. Thanks Cruze, Rod and Froggy for the extra's.
