Just ordered the 1:72 Eastern Express one from a company in England (I'm in Canada) and I am paying $16cnd including shipping. It was selling for $17 plus 15% tax off the store shelf here! I would say that's a deal, eh?

Steve,
You never know what will happen with these. Reminds of a few years back when there was a guy bidding on Blue Max and Eduard kits that were still readily available, but paying $100.00 for each of them.
I saw an Eduard Morane Salunier gor for nearly $200.00. I put my same kit up for auction the next week, and it brought $30.00. Go figure, huh?

Blimey!
I bought the Flashback version of this kit a few years ago for AU$40 on line.
Somebody must really want this one. Myself, I'd scratch build rather than pay that much.
Having said that, I did once pay $250 (retail) for a 1/48 Resin Felixstowe F2a... And I'm going to use that kit as patterns for a scratch build... one day...

Cheers,

Hugh

Someones got money to burn!

And it aint me!

WOW, the bidder must really want one. They were around 30-40 bucks U.S. last time I looked. I did build the Flashback version a number of years back. I wish Eduard using their new technology would do a new version. I thought the moldings of the old kit were kinda.... well... crappy.

Salute,
Steve

Hey, I recenly sold a 1/35th armor kit for almost $200.00. My only regret about it is that I didn't buy a half dozen when they came out.
