Gunsight on Sopwith Pup

I have looked at scores of pictures and still can't determine if the Sopwith Pup, generally, did, or did not have a gunsight on the Vickers gun. And if it did, were it was located.

I have seen pictures that seem to indicate that some Pups had some kind of sight on the front of the barrel housing; but most appear to have had no sight at all.

Can anyone help on this. I'm finishing up the gun on a 1/3 scale Pup I'm restoring.
