Now I'm not sure if I'm in the right section, but I saw this on Ebay and had to bring it to the forum.
This was state of the art in off roading circa 1918. It's a 1918 FWD (Four Wheel Drive) truck, made by Four Wheel Drive Company Co. out of Clintonville, WI.
To me this hulk is ten times more interesting than anything from WW2. Not because it is older, but because so much less was known about engineering and metallurgy. Can you imagine trying to get supplies up to the front in this monster. Look how upright the driver would be sitting, with no cab (may have rotted away), and it has solid rubber tires! Imagine trying to turn the steering wheel.
It would be a great addition to someone's collection.
Here is the link if you want to watch it -
