Painting

Hello,
I am currently building a diorama of a Gotha Bomb Dropper being converted to a night bomber.
My questiion is, how were they painted? I know compressed-air paint guns were invented in 1879, but were they used in aircraft applications during WWI?
Thanks,
Lepercan

Yep. Many Gotha's were built by LVG and there's LVG factory photos of guys with spray guns. Quite a few German companies used these.

Lep: You'll get more responses if you post paint and modeling questions on the markings and models sections.

Good luck.
