Albatros DVa "STOPP"

Would anyone be aware of photographs in which Albatros aircraft of Jasta 46 are featured? The STROPP D.va was from this Jasta.

Greetings stoney; Check the search engine. There some threads there of interest to you. Geg VanWyngarden is the only fellow I know of that has done a feature article on Jasta 46w. It was in a late issue of Cross & Cockade USA. There are almost zero images of Jasta 46w Albatros aircraft except for D.7161/17 "STROPP". Those come fom allied sources.

My Gallery
Stropp.

Stephen Lawson:
You will find that I was the source of the identification of Stropp with Jasta 46 in a paper I had prepared for Howard Fisher which he submitted to the author of the Smithsonian book on the Albatros D.Va.
Blue skies,
Dan

Very true Dan. This was originally published in the NASM book on the Albatros D.Va restoration. He was just looking for additional images of Jasta 46 aircraft. There is that D.III OAW with the Blitz motif from Jasta 46 and STROPP but not much else in the Alb.D.V/Va category. When it was in California on display after the war Dan had a large opportunity to see it.

On the Fokker D.VII Greg VanWyngarden proffers some ideas in the Anthology series from Windsock. Maybe Dan has some plan view drawings of other possible Jasta 46 machines? Dan has a Jasta documentation service and offers multiview deawings of most anything that has ever been photographed.

Thanks guys. I do have the Smithy D.V book and was wondering if any additional info was available on any of the other Jasta 46 'planes. I've Googled it six ways to Sunday and don't get much.

Say, wasn't the Smithsonian supposed to do a companion book on their Fokker D.VII?
