Belgian Aviation Militaire Spad Lorraine

Hello,

I discovered in some Ordre Journaliers du Corps (OJ C) of 1922 the mention of a Spad Lorraine "8". As all Spads used by the Belgian Aviation Militaire were powered by the much more common Hispano Suiza this seems a bit odd.
In fact in France some Spad XI's were fitted with a Lorraine engine becoming effectively Spad XVI's. Has anybody information about this modification to this or other Belgian Spad(s) of the III Groupe.

Best regards,

Daniel
