Hi Wulffo !

Thanks for your reaction but unfortunately I already have them in my collection ! :'(

I'm establishing a list of losses of these units over Flanders and even a bit further on the Western Front.

Hi Regulus,

I then assume that you already know Peter Grosz' & G.W. Haddow's book "The german Giants"... there you can find some info on the operational History of these units. There are also two little interesting Appendixes given called "Chart of R-plane Raids on England" and "Operational Missions of Rfa 500 and Rfa 501 (Western Front)".

Best, Immo

Hi again,

another nice little report you can find in Walter von Eberhardt: "Unsere Luftstreitkräfte 1914-1918".

Hptm.a.D. Arthur Schoeller wrote there about his raid on 7. Mar 1918 with R27 against London and the crash of his plane behind the own lines...

Hi Mike !

Thansk ! Yes I did know of it and had it copied. It is a wonderful uniform indeed !
And the last one surviving untill now it seems.
Still very little is known about these units, they remain a little mysterious.
