The Matrinsyde G100, which is closet in the photo was CDL. Next one alone is a Brisfit and was white and PC10. The next dark one is PC10 and is a Brisfit as well.

I am sure Cam wont mind if I post some of his profiles here... Just to back up what I typed above.
The G100 profile that i have posted below I can not say for sure is the one in the above photo. I have used this profile just as an example.

This profile is taken from a photo which appears in Windsock Datafile No.70 of Martinsyde 7488. Although the Datafile only mentions 7488 serving with 14 Sqn RFC, the aircraft also served with 1 Sqn Australian Flying Corps from January to October of 1917. This profile depicts the aircraft in it's later scheme of all over Clear Doped Linen. It appears from photos that in the latter part of 1917, 1 Sqn AFC, 14 Sqn RFC and X Aircraft Park standardized the doping for the Martinsyde G.100's as CDL.

This profile is of one of the many different schemes A7194 was photographed wearing. The profile above shows one of the darker schemes where the fixed rudder is in PC10 and the serial number in white. The top of the fuselage above the diagonal PC10 flash is white, the wings are PC10 for about 2/3rds of the wings length with the foot boards and center sections white.
17th January 1918 Lieutenant Len M.S Potts and Lieutenant Fred Hancock claimed an Albatros DIII OOC near El Lubban. From Joe Bulls Diary on Thursday the 17th January; "The pilot was Lieutenant L.M. Potts who says he is even with them now, meaning that he has made them pay for the loss of his brother, Lieutenant J. Potts. The observer, Lieutenant Hancock, also got a few rounds in with his back gun but he gives credit to Pott's gun for knocking the Hun." The Potts brothers were locals from the Hawkesbury area in north western Sydney, their father was the Dean of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College for many years.

Ahhhhhh....
So the "third colour" on the Brisfit is just shadow of the wings...
And I thought that it is something like WWII Western Desert British tank camouflage...
Thanks!

There are actual genuine colour photos taken on this occasion by Frank Hurley, the photographer. The following website give background to them, plus answers (if you read it) questions about why there are both (genuine) B&W photos and identical colour photos; how the process worked, and how 'accurate' the colours were.
The last question can be briefly answered as roughly credible matches, but not paintchip accurate.

Thanks for info!
I've heard about Hurley's colour photos from Shackelton's antarctic expedition, but not from Palestine.
Thanks again!
