Halberstadt C.V in th Brussels Museum

Recently I got a few photographs of my friend Hauptmann of the unique Halberstadt C.V in the Brussels military museum. I obtained his permission to publish these in the Forum of Aerodrome.
As you can see the unique machine is in decay. The lozenge is problably unique as it is the original not restaurated piece of 1918.

Thanks for those excellent pictures . They reminded me of why I am going to make a reality of my long standing ambition to visit the Brüssel museum this summer. Do you have any more?

Rib Tapes

Thanks for the great pictures. In one of the frames the rib stitching is clearly visible. I was under the impression that rib stitching was not used on WW1 a/c. I thought all tapes were ripped from fabric and the edges doped down. Can any one please clarify this point.

Is there any more information on the history of this plane during or after WWI? Like who flew it?
