Nieuport 28 of 213th (red, white & blue)

Hi,
A friend of mine is building a 1/3 scale, RC Nieuport 28 and is considering the red, white and blue color scheme of the aircraft of the 213th Aero Squadron (shown on pg. 21 of Windsock Datafile #36). This same photo appeared on the inside cover of AAHS Journal, Vol. 19, No.2, Summer 1974, and an artist's representation of the fuselage profile is included in color in the old Profile Publications series.

My questions are:
1) What color or colors are the wings?
2) Are they one solid color, or is there some type of
pattern, and if so, what is the pattern and where do the colors go?
3) Has a painting of this airplane been done at some point over the years? I seem to remember seeing one somewhere...and where can I get a copy?
4) Has a plastic kit ever been released that shows this scheme on box art, or in a 3-view on the instructions?
5) Are there any other known photos of this airplane, other than the one mentioned above?

The stabilizer and elevators appear to be white in the photo. The Profile Publication shows the underurfaces as a linen/possibly clear-doped color.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks very much,

Tom Polapink (SL DIII)

Here is another profile of a red, white, and blue Nie. 28 fro 213 Squadron:

Looks like the artist here chose to depict the wings as solid olive green. Maybe the owner of the site could provide more insight. See also the caption under the depiction of the all olive green French Civil registered example, specifically the references to the use of pre-colored fabric on post-war Nie.28's. Could the wings on the 213 Sqn. example been so colored?
