Schlachtflieger out yet?

Hi,
I'm curious if those who have ordered this eagerly anticipated book have actually received it yet, either from Schiffer or one on the on-line ordering venues?
I'm still awaiting my French bombardment forces book by Rene Martel that I ordered 7 weeks ago. So I'm not going to bother until I know that this one is really out.
Thanks,
Ryan

Schlachtflieger!

Gentlemen:
I was informed by Barnes & Noble Information Service that the publication date of Schlachtflieger! is 28 October 2006.
I understand that that is the date the books will be in the stores.
Can't wait!!
Dan-San
PS. Rick, I guess you are as antsy as I am!

After all this time, it would be nice to hold a copy in hand. Oh well, not holding my breath. R.

Both hands Rick, Schiffer seem to be using thicker stock for the end covers and the books are much heavier. One hand and you'll drop it on your foot!

Exclamation Availability of 'Schlachtflieger!' ...

Hello,

I ordered my copy of SCHLACHTFLIEGER! last week and received the following lines from the European distributor for 'Schiffer books': 'bushwoodbooks'.

"Thank you for confirming your order. This book has not been published yet, we are expecting our first supply to arrive at the end of November. ..."

Well, it seems that will have to wait a bit longer than only a week. These are hard times ...

The Schiffer website now shows 'available now'. That was exciting, I called Schiffer and the person I spoke with told me that they are expecting these to arrive at Schiffer from the printer 'any time now.'

So it should not be long.

I was told I would receive an "advance copy" (whatever the definition of that is), within the week! Oh, that notification came three weeks ago. Still waiting for the "advance copy" to arrive. R.
