Hans-Joachim Wolff Fokker Dr.I
Hi all!
I'm looking for information in the Net about Hans-Joachim Wolff's Fokker Dr.I personal colors, but I can't find anything but references to a "green tail", maybe with a yellow or red fuselage band.
Could anyone help me with this matter, please?
(I'm trying to paint a Roden 1/72 Dr.I as one of the kette-members in MvR last flight, 21 april 1918)
Thank you very much and best regards from Spain,
Rinahe

last flight
You could also choose Weiss's white tripe or Steinhoffer's red band with yellow x's. I'm building Weiss's in 1/28th and Steinhoffer's in 1/32nd.

Thanks redalb2253, but my wingman ( Romani) has done Weiss' Dr.I and I don't like Steinhausser markings...
I prefer to let a chance to the less known kette members of that fatidic day, as Wolff, Wenzl (this one has a profile in Osprey's books), Just, Effers, Karjus, Scholz and Wolfram vR.
I can't find even kit models done of any of them!

WvR
Did anyone ever find what his markings were or the rest for that matter?

A yellow fuselage band aft of cockpit along with typical Jasta 11 markings.

Rinahe, I forgot I had that book, I would have tell you sooner
Other alternatives you can choose from of the pilots who flew with MvR in his final flight are
Ltn. Edgar Scholz, fuselage band of horizontal black and wite stripes
Ltn. Erich Just (Fok.Dr.I 110/17
Ltn. Karl Effers
Oblt. Walther Karjus
One of these two pilots may have been flying 155/17 Mohnicke former airplane, blue fuselage with swastika, crosses changed to Balkenkreuze
And there's another unknown DrI similar to Steinhaüser but in black and white, and with the stripes covering the tail and rudder

Romani, I'll be glad if you lend me that book for some time, please.
When I get finished my Dr.I model, I'll post here some pictures, ok?
Best regards,
Rinahe

hello to everyone
i think that Lt Just flew a fokker dr1 with a diagonal band similar to his
Fok DVII.
In "Fokker DVII Aces of world war one part1" on page 35 it have a profile of JLt Erich Just Fok DVII machine with a diagonal black and white fuselage band.
and
in "Squadron/signal publication Fokker dr1 in action" in page 27 panoramic vew of Lechelle aerodrome there are a fokker dr1 with a diagonal band that i think is the same of lt Erich Just. This photo was taken when jasta 6 was lined up and jasta 11 was waiting for that to do the same on 26 march 1918
probably it can be Lt Just dr1 with a fuselage black and white band.
at this time jasta 6 and 11 share the same aerodrome together.
