It is one of two similarly marked machines at Issoudon France 3rd Aviation Instructional Center. Probably at Field Four. It was called as the hand written caption names it "The Flying Fish" the other machine was called the "Jazbo." The Current Cross & Cockade International Vol. 37 #2 has two articles about the units at Issoudon (written by some plugger here abouts.) The Jazbo is shown there in a colour profile. "The Flying Fish" you display here, was probably green, white, red, silver dope and black to various degrees. See;Current C&C Intl. comments click here
any ideas about the color of the wings? on the picture Sreiko posted it could be silver but on the other picture in the "Interesting Nieuport 17 picture "-tread it looks darker. Is it just the light or could it be green?
