I would like to start off by saying the in NO WAY do I what this to turn into a shooting gallery!!!
I have the most respect for the people listed in the article.

The article in the Cross & Cockade (Int.) Vol. 26 No. 3 1995 Page 113 Titled “Good-Bye To All That Red” has used a lot of specimens in its research by the R. Gerrard. From the time I have started on this forum, I have come across a lot of post on him.

This is where I what to be careful. If any of things that have been said are true then what is the authenticity on this article. Pleases, I'm not say the article is wrong I just ask if the accuracy of this article has been corrupted or miss lead by R.G.s specimens.

Please hold you opinion to yourself, I'm just trying so see if this has been tainted by R.G. or not. I would like to keep the author and the names of the sources out of this post for one day I wish to meet these outstanding researchers.

If you want you can also e-mail me.

Thanks
Lloyd ...
