No sound on my RBII or III

I have loaded both RBs and have the same problem. It works ok when I first load it. The second time there is no sound. I checked the settings, and they are fine.

I want a new RB- RB IV!

No worries m8, you just have the dreaded XP Sound issue.

Go to this site, http://www.wings-of-valor.net/ then go to:
XP Related tab, then view the:
XP Sound Workaround document.

Barkhorn.

I've found that if I WAIT to plug in the joystick after I've started the game, that sound bellows forth from my tiny computer speakers and much fun ensues (usually with the swwisa.net provided WFP patch)
