Fokker D.VII Finished
Hello,
Here are some pictures of my recently finished Fokker, the plane depicts a machine flown by Ulrich Neckel while he was CO of Jasta 6. I hope you like it.
Cheers

I read your article earlier today in IM. Very well done! Another scheme I will never do now

I also read your IM article, all I can say is "WOW". I just picked up Rodens OAW kit and plan on doing Stark's Mauve striped D.VII next.

Great job. Very impressive. Someday I hope to have those skills...
I have the same kit and am looking forward to the build, but the subject is a secret...

Thanks...
I am glad you liked it.
Greg excellent choice, Rudolf Stark's machine is the best documented Fokker OAW (mid). You will find several pictures of it on the Fokker D.VII antology part 2, but you will have to modify the radiator like I did with Neckel's plane and add the "missing" louver on the right side.

There's no other machine that looks more striking, then one from Jasta 6. Very neat.

Thanks ...
Stephen, Greg and Jumpinjan. I am really flattered by your praises. Especially from you Greg, because I used your Fokker D.VII anthology 2 book as a main source. I ordered your (and Norman Franks) Fokker Aces Part 1-2 too, but sadly they arrived to late because the model was almost finished by then however I was pleasantly surprised because you arrived at the same conclusion about the stripes. I think that the representation of the stripes at an oblique angle is a consequence of an optical illusion, just look the picture taken from rear.
