FlugzeugMatrose Albert Dreyer joined SFS Wiek in April 1917 for observer education. Sometimes later, during 1917 he was posted further to Warnemünde.. On 4 Jan 18 he was posted to the front and joined See I at Seebrügge. The same month he was promoted further to FlugzeugOberMatrose (dont have exact date)... On 19 Jan 18 he was posted further to See II at Ostende where he scored one victory in late Feb 1918... He received the EK II on 15 Mar 18 and the Ehrenpreis 28 Mar 18. On 10 May 18 he received the Beobachterabzeichen... In late May to early Jun 1918 he served a few days within SFS Borkum... He was promoted to Flugmaat on 19 Jul 18, so probably he was never a Flugmeister... Apparently he served within See II until the unit was "dissolved" in early Oct 1918.... And to round out the picture, I think you want Ltn.d.R. Max Frantz (P). His early days were spent at SFS Borkum (Jun15), then he transferred to Köslin, then SFS Helgoland where he went to SEE I on 28Sep16. From here his record is almost clear:
