Jan Zahálka österreichische-ungarische Luftfahrtruppen

Recently acquired from Slovakia (http://www.hobbyshop.cz/) an outstanding photographic book of Jan Zahálka Der grosse Krieg - Österreichische-ungarische Luftfahrtruppen.

It was as easy as cake to order via Internet and it arrived within a few days (!!).

But on reading and viewing the book I realized this one was Volume 2 in a series of at least 3 volumes.

Being a collector of books you know it. Where to get the other two. Mails to Slovakia are till now unanswered.

I give here the exact details of the other volumes :

Velká válka. 1., Rakousko-uherské a německé válečné letectvo / Václav
Hajný, Alexander Vs. Petříček, Miroslav Břínek. - Vyd. 1.. - Brno :
Para bellum, c2002. - 131 s. : il., portréty ; 30 cm. - ISBN
80-238-8040-3 (váz.)

Velká válka = Der grosse Krieg. 3., Fotografie z muzeí Čech a Moravy =
Fotografien tschechischer und mährischer Museen / Václav Hajný,
Alexander V. Petříček. - Vyd. 1.. - Brno : Para bellum, c2004. - 126
s. : il., portréty ; 30 cm. - ISBN 80-239-3336-1 (váz.)

Would be very obliged if one of the experts in Aerodrome could give a hint how to obtain these two volumes.

Varese- The Aviation Bookshop in Kent, UK has at least one of the books you are trying to find. 27.99 pounds.

Thanks a lot. I looked already in the catalogue of this bookshop. They have an amazing collection. There is only one problem : impossible to buy everything what one wants.

Recently I have acquired the first part of the book Velká Válka which has text only in Czech (a pity no dual-language). Photographs are very fine of (mostly) Austro-hungarian aircraft.

I also inquired about the third volume (dual language), but am in doubt of buying that one, because I cannot judge from the outside if there is much aviation in it. Anybody in this forum can give a clue on that ? Would be much appreciated.

Hello Varese, Hobbyshop.cz was a pleasure to business with. Very helpful. The volume with artillery on the cover has no aviation coverage, but many fine photos of ground troops, aretillery, cavalry, etc. All three are worth having. Cheers, August
