Hello Forumites,
I am engaged in a research project at this time and I seek information on how people in different countries today perceive
Manfred von Richthofen.
1. Is he remembered in a positive or negative way?
2. In your country, would you say that interest is strong or have most people forgotten about MvR and the other WW1 aces?
3. If you walked up to someone on the street and asked them who the Red Baron is, would they know?
4. If there is a continuing interest for MvR in your country, how is this interest shown?
(that is...through museum displays, books published, aviation clubs, model airplanes, et cetra)
Your responses to these questions will be very much appreciated! Thank you in advance.
