New CFS2 Aircraft Looking for Pilots

I have three new aircraft for CFS2 that are ready for beta test. Multi-resolution models with animated and breaking parts, 0.5% performance air files, and I am getting about 50 to 70 frames per second in 16 aircraft dogfights. I would like to get a few more people to check them out and find any bug/errors before I do a general release. I have a Nieuport 11, Albatros D.III and Albatros D.V. Air files are for offline play. Are there any takers out there?

Hmm. I might bite, but I tend to prefer the Alb Dva that we made available at Netwings.

But a DIII? That interests me. While CFS2 is out of the machine, I can fly those babies in FS2004.

Lessee how your flight file for those babies are. Sure. PM me and I'll give you the email for transfer.

I can give a non-biased, factual opinion for you on test flight stuff. It's what I do for LuftwaffeOberst (constantly, LOL) who's currently turning our DR1 for CFS2 into a FS2004 model.

Go to AeroCrate.com and download. The passwords are on their way to you. I have not tested these in anything other than CFS2 so I don't know what problems you will encounter. Let me know if you have any issues. These planes are really optimized for CFS2 so they will not be up to snuff for FS2004. My focus has been the combat experience.

Thanks. Will do.

Soooo. Optimized for combat experience? What did you use for sources, for flight dynamics, sound files, etc.

Just curious. I'm a stickler for accuracy.

AeroCrate,

I'd love to help you, but I'm in the final two weeks of this semester of grad school.

If you can wait for feedback until after then, I'd love to test your planes.

Regards,

Sound file issues

Afternoon folks.

Just a heads up - in the albatros, there is no mistaking that sound. They belong to LuftwaffeOberst (my husband, maker of CFS2, 3 and FS2004 files, sounds, and assorted stuff) and also belong to the Dr.1.

Just because I don't make things don't mean I don't have an ear out for stuff like this. Luft either. Neither Luft or I are happy about this.

We're working on a SimTech Fokker re-mod - but we don't claim it as ours and credit is given where credit is due.

I would appreciate it in the future if anyone wants to use LuftwaffeOberst sounds to make sure they inform either Luft or I beforehand, and give credit (and email me a link so I can see proof).

I also would like information on WHERE you got those sounds, so I can turn the spandaus in the proper direction, as the person who gave you those sounds - A - gave you the wrong ones and B - didn't tell you where they came from.

I hate having to be such a b**** about it, but if this kind of stuff continues, Luft will end up having to go payware with these sounds, something we'd rather not do, because that would ruin everyone's fun.

Vielen Dank.

Lufbery, no problem. That will give me time to address the sound file problem Red has identified. I have also found some minor dp problems but would like to hear what other find. I want this to be a nice set when they go out with no issues.

James, I tried to send you a message but your box was full. Go to my site and email me. I will send you the passwords back as soon as I get the sound files taken care of.

Greg, I've flown all the planes now and I like 'em. Seem to act as the real ones might be expected to.

On the D.II, I noticed when the wing are shot off in combat, the top of the Fuselage also comes off. Other than that the're great!
