Oberleutnant Vogel von Falkenstein
The German aviation magazin showed a photograph of the Ulanen-uniform of an aviator Oberleutnant Vogel von Falkenstein which was sold on an auction.
A reader has heard this uniform was used by the mentioned officer when he died in an accident in 1917. Falkenstein was allegedly "Einflieger" (test pilot). Did anybody hear about this man (obviously not the same as the Hauptmann who died in 1915)? VBR Rammjaeger |
